The ant teaches us about work

"The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops" -2 Timothy 2:6
All the glory be to God!

First of all the class and I had so much fun last Friday... I believe it was the best one so far...this has just began....

Now the second class its about ants. To be honest I was not excited about this class since there is a lot to learn from the bible before this class...but lets go for it!!

So I was looking around for ideas even though they know about ants I still wanted to make it a little special. So I remembered when I was little I preached about ants. My mom who is a genius with decoration made me a giant ant pile so here is my version...
I wanted a cone shape anything and i went to my favorite store...DOLLAR TREE and found a megaphone that cheerleaders use for games.... and thats when my ant pile was born.

For my review game here what I made:

Well the purpose of the game is that each kid gets their own ant and ant pile with their names on it. They will be racing their ants to their pile by answering a question who ever gets there first wins. My nephew helped me cut the magnets and  glue them. THANK YOU NENE (even though you cant read yet you deserve credit) Now Im planing to finish decorating this and upgrading it until is the way I like:)

For my dollar tree found:
I work by dollar tree so Im there everyday (LITERARY). When I left today I was going to leave kinda sad because I only found one thing that I wanted at the moment until I saw this:::
(sorry about my shoes)
When I was this bamboos I saw Moses been born. I was looking for something to be the rod that I didnt have to paint and  that was a little damage. I was sooo happy I bought two one for me and one for my sister.

God bless you,
Ashley

Jesus the lion of Judah...

- "....but the righteous are bold as a lion" (Proverbs 28:1)
All the glory be to God!!!!

Before we start i wanted to show you guys my lesson or you can say schedule for bible class
I found something like this but for regular teaching in Pinterest and i thought this would be a great idea to let the kids know whats next

Now for for the actual lesson
Jesus is a very strong person in the bible. He is the son of God and therefore he is compare to the most strong animal of the jungle....the lion
The lesson plan tells me that I have to give class with a puppet...and something about me that you guys should know is that I DONT LIKE TO WAIT and i like to do everything my self. My husband calls it the "Short syndrome" since Im short... so surfing through the internet I came across this site: storytimefeltsandmore.com there she has the pattern to make this.
I also made it for the kids with the memory verse in the bottom for them to take home and learn it so once they come on Sunday they will know it by heart.
Also very simple...to review the lesson I printed out a lion (found it on google). I cut out a bunch of crowns and with their eyes close they will try to crown the lion.

Before i finish this post which by the way i will let you guys know how it went....Im going to show you my find of the week
I found this at the dollar store yesterday and I really hope the have it near you!!!...although my plans is not to use it for Bible hearts or Go fish I was very excited to found them...

God bless you,
Ashley
